The Missing Key
I had been immersed in the work for years: the spiritual studies, the dance classes, the meditation practices, the personal development books (so many books...) I loved the spicy psychology, the energy work, and the somatic play (still do.)
But it wasn't until I discovered the missing key that all of these melted into place: the integration of the dark feminine.
I'm talking erotic embodiment beyond the bedroom, creative rebirth from my shadow, fully inhabiting my aging body, and the ritualistic magick that anchored it all in.
This was my electric awakening and the birth of Esoeroticism—well over a decade ago—and when I unlocked the door and moved through the threshold, everything changed.
Up until that point, my life was pressure and performance: success in my career through sheer will and ambition, battling my body to be perceived as desirable, trying to fix myself through the mind. But that's not where transformation happens. It happens in body. And that's where I met my innate magnetism, became deeply self-possessed, aligned to living turned-on, and rooted into my sacred self-standards.
This wasn't a one-and-done wam-bam-thank-you-m'aam silver bullet. It required devotion. An ongoing devotion I still practice today (there will forever be layers to this work.) But even so, the initial shift was immediately palpable: I was ALIVE! In my body and in my life. Because as is within, so is without: in Esoeroticism we know that we author our realities from the inside out. And this work has become something that my body now craves, rather than just another practice to add to my self-care checklist.
